Cast Iron Owl Andirons. Circa 1900

975.00

Cast iron owl form andirons with glass eyes through which the fire glows were made by the Howes foundry of Boston, Massachusetts around the turn of the Century. (1900) The glass eyes have no cracks or breaks. There is one apology on the casting of one andiron, where there is a break in it's decorative branch, but does not affect its structure and support. Price is reflective of above mentioned. 14 3/4" H. X 9 1/4" W. X 17 1/2" D.
